What is it?

How does it work?
Caffeine 0.2% topical works by improving local microcirculation in the scalp and inhibiting the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a hormone that suppresses hair growth. By blocking this enzyme, caffeine helps promote hair shaft elongation, prolongs the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle, and stimulates the proliferation of hair matrix keratinocytes .
